What is KleerNet?

SMSC's KleerNet™ is a proprietary wireless audio technology that is used to deliver CD/DVD quality sound to a variety of consumer devices used in the home, office, or on-the-go.

  Stream your music or other audio content from a transmission source – such as a PC, tablet, portable media player docking station, home theater or gaming system – to multiple receivers in the same KleerNet-enabled system.
• Ease of Use
  Instantly connect surround sound speakers, sound bars and subwoofers, headphones, and gaming and VOIP headsets from a variety of brands into your home or portable entertainment system without the need for special hardware or software drivers.
• Flexibility
  Set up a wireless audio network to broadcast audio from your PC, DVD or game system or play music from your iTunes®, Windows Media Player® or internet radio playlist on speakers located throughout your home.
• Customization
  Create up to four separate zones to allow you to stream different music selections to each zone. KleerNet also allows you to receive Skype™ communications while music is being streamed to other devices.
